“The world is full of wounds, yet it is also full of the healing of God.” — St. Augustine
At times life can feel like a kind of exile. We experience suffering, confusion, broken relationships, and struggles within our own minds and bodies that leave us feeling distant from the life we hoped for. Yet even in this exile, we are given the opportunity to seek what is true and good—to choose truth and love in the ways we think, live, and relate to others. Therapy can be a place where that work begins: a space to reflect honestly, confront what is difficult, and move toward healing in mind, body, and soul.
My goal is not to impose answers, but to walk alongside you as you better understand your experiences and the patterns that shape your life. Through that process, many people begin to find greater clarity, freedom, and a deeper sense of direction.
Bio:
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) who works with adults navigating complex mental health and substance use challenges. I am EMDR-trained and have experience working with individuals facing trauma, addiction, relationship and attachment difficulties, and severe and persistent mental health conditions, including psychotic disorders.
Much of my clinical experience has involved working with men facing significant life stressors, including substance use, domestic violence, and long-standing mental health struggles. My approach is collaborative and direct, helping clients build insight while developing practical tools for meaningful and lasting change.
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy playing soccer, strength training, hiking, and spending time with family and friends—activities that help me stay grounded and connected to what gives life balance and meaning.
